Dr Tan and his team are friendly, approachable and very experienced. We pride ourselves in being thorough in the explanation of the LASIK procedure and pre-LASIK examination of your eye, bar none. All necessary tests are done with no cutting of corners because we know that the best result comes from proper and accurate test results.
Dr Tan emphasizes on safety. He has performed All-laser LASIK since 2001 which improves the safety of LASIK tremendously. He has also started LASIK Xtra™ which improves the strength of the cornea and makes the result of LASIK surgery more stable and accurate.

Also known as "Ah Hua", our "flower" of the clinic is the mother hen – always telling us how to do something better. Trained as an operating theatre nurse, she is not frightened to scold Dr Tan for ruining the operating instruments; she runs the nursing group with great enthusiasm. Born in Malaysia, she has the typical Malaysian attitude of "boleh lah".

Ying Ying is Dr Tan's staff nurse in charge of room consultation and is a mother of a young cute baby boy. She is soft-spoken and rushes around assisting Dr Tan for most of the day. She is very experienced in both assisting eye laser treatments and major eye surgeries.

Soft-spoken but well-organised. That's how we would describe our Head Optometrist. Well-trained in laser correction diagnostic procedures, she organises the group of optometrists with her soft-spoken manner. She is dedicated and always wants to make sure that the patients' results are perfect.

Finishing in the top 10 of her optometric class, Nurul is young but surprisingly "steady" for her age. Surprisingly fluent in Mandarin, she is a quick learner and an excellent group member. Her interests are varied including Korean K-POP stars!

Our resident MRO (medical records officer) expert can find any of our 30,000 case notes in the clinic with relative ease! She is quiet but has a flamboyant hairstyle. Her nickname in the clinic is "Ah Bu (Hokkien for Mother)" as she "mothers" everyone in the clinic being our longest working member at Jerry Tan Eye Surgery.

Our super hardworking assistant manager and resident Mandarin expert is Lee Kuan Yew's dream bilingual citizen. Extremely fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Her stamina is tremendous and will always go the extra mile.
